Speedway Children’s Charities (SCC) Sonoma, the charitable arm of Sonoma Raceway, proudly announced today that it raised over $55,000 through ticket sales from the Ferrari Challenge North America event on August 24. The funds raised will go directly to supporting local children and families in need throughout Sonoma County.

Ferrari Challenge North America, the largest single-marque series in North America, features various classes of racing set within a festive atmosphere and under a blanket of Ferrari Red. This weekend, some of the brand’s newest luxury vehicles were on display, along with a showing of privately owned Ferraris for spectators to enjoy. Fans were treated to shakeups on the podium and plenty of on-track action in the penultimate round of the series.

The weekend was about more than just the roar of the engines and the thrill of competition – it was also about making a meaningful impact on the community as all proceeds from ticket sales for the event were donated by Sonoma Raceway directly to SCC Sonoma, whose mission it is to support local non-profits that support children and families in need by way of annual grants.

“We are thrilled to see so many fans coming out to enjoy this exciting event,” said Courtney Kiser, director of SCC Sonoma. “The funds raised will go a long way in providing essential support to children and families who need it most, right here in Sonoma.”

This prestigious event is slated to return to Sonoma Raceway in 2025 to an all-new date of March 8, 2025 and tickets will be available for purchase soon via SonomaRaceway.com
