NASCAR’s up-and-coming stars prepare to battle it out this afternoon on one of the most challenging and exciting road courses in the country. Before we get started, here are a few things to know ahead of the race.

Spectator gates open at 9 a.m. Following shortly, both the Historic Trans Am Practice and Hauler Hangout (at Turn 7) will start at 10 a.m. The ARCA Menards Series West Practice will commence at 11 a.m., followed by the ARCA Menards Series West Qualifying at 12:10 p.m.

If you are looking for a chance to get up close and personal with your favorite drivers, look no further than the ARCA Driver Autograph Session starting at 1 p.m. in the General Tire Display in Fan Zone.

If you want to get a preview of Saturday’s race, you can watch the NASCAR Xfinity Series Practice for the first time ever at Sonoma Raceway at 1:05 p.m. To follow will be the Historic Trans Am Qualifying at 2:15 p.m.

As for the main event, get ready for an evening of racing against the backdrop of the rolling hills of Sonoma as ARCA West Series Driver Introductions will begin at 3:10 p.m., and the General Tire 200 race (64 laps. 127.36 miles) will commence at 3:30 p.m.
