  1. New Campground – Introducing the brand-new Chute Campground overlooking one of Sonoma Raceway’s most famous passing zones, The Chute, connecting Turns 4 and 7 for a high-speed, wide stretch of asphalt on the road course.

  1. Three Full Days of Racing – Action-packed race weekend from start to finish with ARCA Menards Series West, NASCAR Xfinity Series AND NASCAR Cup Series practice and qualifying sprinkled in throughout the weekend schedule 
  1. Earlier Xfinity Series Start – The up-and-coming NASCAR drivers competing in the Xfinity Series will be racing at an all-new time of 12:30 PM from 5:00 PM for more excitement under the beautiful summer sun.
  1. New Race Weekend Dates – The transition to mid-summer (July 11-13) from the traditional early June race dates opens up more opportunities for fans to attend, particularly campers with families and college students.
     
  2. Hometown Drivers to Keep Your Eyes on – Tyler Reddick, native of Corning, CA, is coming off a Championship 4 appearance in 2024 and is primed for a strong run at Sonoma. While two-time winner Kyle Larson (native of Elk Grove, CA) is looking to win his third Sonoma race with an opportunity to go back-to-back and defend his home track title.
     
  3. New Driver Movement – Silly season this off-season has been nothing short of wild with some big-named drivers moving to different teams in the NASCAR Cup Series:
  • 23XI Racing has expanded to three teams with Riley Herbst as the driver of the all-new #35 car.
  • Zane Smith is now driving the #38 for Front Row Motorsports.
  • Todd Gilliland staying with Front Row Motorsports but drive the #34.
  • Ty Dillon driving for Kaulig Racing in the #10.
  • Justin Haley will drive the #7 for Spire Motorsports.
  • Shane Van Gisbergen will drive the #88 full-time for TrackHouse Racing.
  • Noah Gragson moved to Front Row Motorsports and driving the #4.
  • Chase Briscoe replaced recently retired Martin Truex, Jr. at Joe Gibbs Racing and driving the #19.
  • Michael McDowell moved from Front Row Motorsports to Spire Motorsports and driving the #71.
