Sonoma Raceway featured Bracket Drag racing on Tuesday, July 4 with 287 Northern California drag racers taking the quarter-mile drag strip for some high-speed racing on our nation's 241st birthday. Tuesday marked the sixth race for the 2017 Bracket Drag Racing Series as the season nears its end.
Winners from Tuesday's drag racing event included Sheridan's Steve Casner (Super Pro); Cloverdale's Jeff LaSalle (Pro ET); Vacaville's Bob Choisser (Sportsmans ET); Martinez's Brian Jennings (Motorcycle ET); San Jose's Ted Kellner (Top Sportsman); Concord's Justin Morgan (Super Comp); Rohnert Park's Sean Eling (Pro Street); San Pablo's Jennifer Hoffman (Top Comp); Oakley's Brent Bockover (A/Gas); Spark's Lee Roberts (B/Gas); Tracy's Scott Morgan (C/Gas); Vacaville's Sal DeRenzi (D/Gas); Sacramento's Vinnie Schenck (E/Gas); and Petaluma's Matt Brians (Trophy).
