Sonoma Raceway featured back-to-back days of Bracket Drags racing as part of its season-opening weekend, Sat., Jan. 28 and Sun, Jan. 29.  More than 300 Northern California drag racers took to the quarter-mile drag strip for some high-speed racing and some wintertime fun in the California sun.

Winners from Saturday's drag racing event included Kelseyville's Dave Hall (Super Pro); Cloverdale's Jeff LaSalle (Pro ET); Novato's Bobby Grabrian (Sportsmans ET); Novato's Doug Love (Motorcycle ET); and Sebastopol's Bobby Taggart.

Sunday's winners included Cotati's Steve Wellman (Super Pro); Madera's Dean Kirkman (Pro ET); Napa's Dwayne Opperman (Sportsmas ET); Citrus Height's Don Ceasar (Motorcycle ET); and San Rafael's Scott Sterley (Trophy).
